Great to meet you!

I work primarily with Christian women who feel overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life—especially those navigating chronic health challenges alongside anxiety, depression, burnout, or grief. You may feel like taking care of your health, your responsibilities, your relationships, and your faith has become a full-time job, and you're tired of always feeling behind.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina with specialized training in Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy. I believe counseling can be a place where your faith is welcomed rather than set aside. Together, we can work toward greater peace with God, yourself, others, and the life you’re living.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that mental, physical, relational, and spiritual health are deeply connected. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy, ecotherapy, and other evidence-based approaches, tailoring our work to your individual needs.

We won't only talk about what you're feeling. We'll get curious about what's contributing to it—your thoughts, routines, relationships, environment, expectations, boundaries, and the mental load you're carrying. Then we'll look for realistic changes that can make everyday life feel more manageable. Sometimes that means challenging an old belief; sometimes it means grieving, setting a boundary, simplifying a routine, spending time in creation, or reconnecting with God.

My goal isn't to give you another list of things you “should” be doing. It's to help you understand what's happening, decide what matters, and find practical next steps that fit your real life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you—not just the symptoms that brought you to counseling. We'll talk about what life looks like right now, what has been difficult, what matters most to you, and what you hope could be different.

I'll ask questions about your mental and emotional health as well as the relationships, routines, physical health concerns, spiritual life, and circumstances that may be affecting how you're doing. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what your goals are or how to explain everything perfectly. We'll figure that out together.

By the end of the session, we'll begin identifying what you would like to work toward and what our work together might look like. My hope is that you leave feeling understood and with a clearer picture of where we're headed.
