Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. I have been practicing as an advanced practice provider since 2019 and am based in Germantown, Maryland.

In my practice, I focus on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of mental health conditions. I provide psychiatric assessments, medication management, and ongoing support tailored to each individual’s needs. My approach is grounded in evidence-based care, and I strive to ensure that every patient feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their treatment.

I believe in building collaborative relationships with my patients and maintaining open communication to help them achieve meaningful improvements in their mental health and overall well-being. I am dedicated to providing consistent, reliable care in an outpatient setting and supporting individuals on their journey toward better mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is patient-centered, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I take the time to understand each individual’s unique experiences, concerns, and goals, and I work closely with my clients to develop a treatment plan that feels both effective and manageable.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and focus on thoughtful medication management when appropriate. I believe in using the lowest effective dose and regularly reassessing progress to ensure treatment remains aligned with each patient’s needs. Education is an important part of my approach, and I make sure my clients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and what to expect moving forward.

I strive to create a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing openly. I value clear communication and encourage active participation in the treatment process, as I believe the best outcomes come from a strong provider–patient partnership.

My focus is on helping individuals manage their mental health effectively while improving their overall quality of life through consistent, compassionate, and personalized care.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, my goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns. I take the time to get to know you as a whole person—not just your symptoms—so we can build a strong foundation for your care.

We will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, which includes discussing your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, and any previous treatments. I will also ask about your lifestyle, stressors, and goals so I can better understand what support you need.

Together, we will begin to identify clear treatment goals and discuss options that may include medication management, coping strategies, and ongoing follow-up care. I make sure to explain everything in a clear and supportive way, so you feel informed and involved in every step of the process.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a better understanding of your symptoms, an initial treatment plan, and a clear path forward. My priority is to ensure you leave feeling heard, supported, and confident about the next steps in your care.
