Great to meet you!

My name is Chante Wellington Mitchell, Ph.D. I specialize in psychotherapy. My psychotherapy services include treating adults (18+ years old) across a wide range of areas such as depression and other mood disorders, self-esteem, stress, anxiety, grief, loss, adjustment/coping difficulties, life transitions, and issues related to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum issues.

I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Duquesne University and completed a three-year clinical research postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University Medical Center.

I take great pride in working with people to gain the tools needed to improve the underlying sources of social, emotional and or psychological difficulties in one’s life to help reach one’s most optimal level of functioning.

My approach to therapy

I used an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing strengths from various treatment approaches.
