Great to meet you!

I want my clients to know that this is a judgment-free space. I understand that reaching out for help and talking openly about mental health, substance use, or difficult life experiences isn’t always easy. My approach is relaxed, down-to-earth, and honest. I’ll listen to what matters to you, explain your options clearly, and work with you to develop a treatment plan that feels realistic for your life. I believe in treating the person, not just the diagnosis, and I want you to feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, individualized, and judgment-free. I believe treatment works best when we work together, so I take the time to understand your concerns, goals, and what is realistically going to work in your life. I focus on the whole person rather than just a diagnosis or list of symptoms. I provide education about treatment options, including the benefits and risks of medications, so you can make informed decisions about your care. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment while developing a practical treatment plan that helps you feel and function better

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you in for care. We’ll review your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, and what you hope to accomplish with treatment. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and sharing at your own pace—there is no judgment and no pressure. Together, we’ll discuss treatment options and develop a plan that feels realistic and individualized to you. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, understood, and clear about the next steps.
