Great to meet you!

If you’ve found your way here, you’ve taken a brave step toward healing—and you’ve found a safe space to grow, reflect, and learn to love your life again.

My name is Charice, and I’m a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Washington. It brings me deep joy to work with individuals who are searching for someone to walk alongside them—to empower, validate, and amplify their voice. I believe therapy is a marathon, not a sprint. Healing isn’t instantaneous—it’s a process, a shared commitment between you and me to explore what works best for you.

I earned my Master of Science in Counseling from Eastern Washington University (Go Eags!) and have had the privilege of working in diverse clinical settings, including college counseling centers and community mental health organizations. These experiences have given me a wide lens on the many ways people experience pain—and more importantly, the incredible capacity we each have to heal.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can be fully seen and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in social justice. I aim to destigmatize the use of mental health resources while honoring your unique perspective and lived experience. I center the voices of underserved and historically marginalized communities, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent individuals, and I recognize the profound impact that systemic oppression can have on mental health. In our work together, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where every part of you is welcome—without judgment, without expectation, and with deep respect for your identity, values, and truth.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, clients can expect to take away a greater sense of clarity, self-compassion, and confidence in navigating life’s challenges. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, vulnerable, and fully yourself.

You’ll gain tools to better understand your emotions, identify patterns that may no longer serve you, and make empowered choices that align with your values. We'll explore the root of what’s causing distress—not just the surface-level symptoms—so that healing can be deep and lasting.

Clients often leave sessions feeling more grounded, validated, and seen. Over time, you can expect to build stronger boundaries, a deeper understanding of your own needs, and a renewed connection to your identity and purpose. Above all, you’ll know that you’re not alone in the process—this is a collaborative journey, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
