Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe prioritizing mental health holistically is key to flourishing in life. Congratulations for reaching out and making the first move on this wellness journey, I’ve been counseling for 30+ years, but as an LPC in the past 3 years, I have shifted my main focus to multicultural clients aged 25-65 who are struggling with anxiety and depression.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has their own story, and I believe your therapy should reflect that. If we decide to work together, we’ll be partners in the process. I want you to feel comfortable being open and honest with me, and to know that you’ll always be met with respect and without judgment. I’ll listen, ask the hard questions when needed, challenge you when it can help you grow, and support you along the way. Most importantly, we’ll figure it out together.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have a chance to tell me a little about your story, what brings you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of it. We’ll take some time to figure that out together! My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being open and vulnerable while also feeling safe and supported. From there, we’ll work together to better understand what you need and take steps toward making your goals a reality.
