Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Charity, and I specialize in helping individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I use a solution-focused therapy approach that emphasizes your strengths and the progress you’re already making, even when it may feel hard to see. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based practices to help you stay grounded, build self-awareness, and manage stress in healthier, more intentional ways.

I believe that therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and tailored to you. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just unsure of where to go next, we’ll work together to identify clear, achievable goals and take meaningful steps toward the life you want.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a proud parent of four amazing kids, ages 17, 10, 10, and 2. My youngest is on the autism spectrum, which has deepened my understanding of neurodiversity, parenting stress, and the importance of flexibility and compassion. When I’m not working or parenting, I love attending comic cons and trying new foods, whether that’s a new local spot or a dish I’ve never made before.

If you’re looking for a supportive, down-to-earth therapist who will help you focus on what’s possible (not just what’s painful), I’d be honored to work with you. At this time I do not provide couples counseling.

My approach to therapy

By combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with mindfulness and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), I would hope to significantly help you reach your goals by addressing both your present experience and your desired future. I want to help empower you and leverage your strengths to build your preferred future.

What you can expect from me

As a therapist grounded in Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, my work is centered on helping you identify your strengths, reframe your thinking, clarify your goals, challenge negative thoughts, and build practical steps toward the changes you want to see in your life. Rather than focusing heavily on problems or the past, we’ll focus on what’s working, what’s possible, and how you can move forward.

In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking environment. I aim to create a space that feels encouraging, respectful, and empowering—where your ideas, experiences, and insights are valued.
