Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT). I work with children, teens, and adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. I strive to be warm and supportive of my clients. Personally grounded in a conservative Christian worldview, I integrate faith-based practices into therapy when requested, while always honoring each client’s beliefs and values.

I began my counseling career in 2017 and have experience in a variety of settings, including nonprofits, a foster care agency, private practice, and school districts. I enjoy working with all ages, and I have special training as a Play Therapist. I earned a BA in Communication Studies from the University of North Texas and an MS in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University, and I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist (RPT), and AutPlay Therapy Certified. I am currently learning more about TBRI and incorporating its principles in my sessions with children and parents.

My approach to therapy

I focus on building a warm, supportive relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and equipped with practical tools for meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking through what to expect in therapy, exploring what brought you in, and beginning to identify goals for our work together.
