Charles Counselman

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate located in the Morrisville, North Carolina area.

I have over a decade of experience in the Mental Health Field and obtained a Master of Social Work degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s Degree at Guilford College.

I was raised in Boston, Massachusetts and have lived in North Carolina for over 20 years. I have lived abroad in India and Southeast Asia and have extensive multicultural experience.

I specialize in meeting my clients virtually via tele-health to treat those looking for help with Depression, Anxiety, Men’s Issues, Alcohol and Substance Use Issues, Marriage and Relationships Issues, and Process Addictions. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing Therapy, and 12-step Facilitation. I have a passion for seeking Evidence-Based solutions to assist my clients.

I try to "meet the client where they're at" and take an individualized approach to each client.
