Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed mental health counselor and psychotherapist providing online therapy to adults in Hawaii, California, and Washington. I specialize in trauma and PTSD, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you've been carrying difficult experiences or emotions for a long time. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself.

My work draws on EMDR therapy, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and parts work to help clients better understand themselves, work through difficult experiences, and develop greater emotional balance and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling safe, understood, and connected to yourself.

I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic and body-based awareness, parts work, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness. Together, we explore how past experiences, emotions, beliefs, and nervous system responses may influence how you feel and respond in the present.

Therapy isn't about forcing change or fixing what's wrong. It's about developing awareness, working through experiences at a manageable pace, and discovering new ways of relating to yourself and others. We'll move at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy.

I'll invite you to share what has been happening in your life, what feels challenging, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We'll explore relevant background, current concerns, and your goals, while leaving room for any questions you may have about the therapy process.

There's no pressure to share everything at once. My priority is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel heard and respected. Together, we'll begin identifying an approach that fits your needs and helps you move toward meaningful change.
