Great to meet you!

I believe most individuals have the ability to grow, overcome challenges, and achieve the goals they set for themselves. My role is to listen, understand your unique experiences, and partner with you to find a path that works for you.

My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I am also trained in EMDR. I believe that with the right support, tools, mindset, and individualized approach, people can overcome challenges and move toward the life they want to create.

I graduated from Michigan State University in 2007 with a degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. After graduation, I worked with organizations supporting individuals who were unable to work due to disabilities. In 2015, I began supervised clinical work and progressed from a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor to a Fully Licensed Professional Counselor. I have continued working in the counseling field ever since.

I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward growth and achieving your goals.

My approach to therapy

I am a positive and compassionate person who believes that, with the right guidance, support, and accommodations, most individuals can achieve their goals. As a survivor of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), I bring both personal and professional experience to my work with individuals affected by TBI. This unique perspective allows me to better understand the challenges of recovery while helping clients recognize their strengths, identify solutions, and move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

I believe in taking the time to get to know each client while also allowing you to get to know me. Together, we identify your goals and create a clear, individualized strategy to help you work toward achieving them. My goal is to make the process collaborative, supportive, and focused on the changes that matter most to you.
