Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New Hampshire with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I am an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist and am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also formally trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

My approach to therapy

I like to make therapy engaging and meaningful. I enjoy learning, and I enjoy teaching. I focus on what you want to work on, I don’t decide your problems; you do. I’ll support you, challenge you, and say the hard things when needed, always with your growth in mind.

I enjoy working with teens and young adults, though I am open to working with others if we seem like a good fit.

My goal is to help you NOT need therapy. (Yes, in a way, I’m working to put myself out of a job.)

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a real, straightforward conversation, not overly clinical or scripted. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what’s been going on, and what you want to get out of therapy. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s okay, we’ll figure it out together.

I’ll ask questions to understand what matters to you and what feels stuck. I’ll be honest and engaged. I’m not just here to nod along. You can also expect some laughing and smiles along with the heavier moments.

We’ll begin identifying your goals and what progress looks like for you. My aim is to create a supportive, direct, and productive environment where you leave with more clarity about your next steps.
