Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master's degree in Social Work. I have specialized training in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, Permanency and Adoption, and have dedicated my career to supporting children, families, and caregivers through life's challenges.

Over the past two decades, I have worked in a variety of settings, including child protection, foster care and adoption services, early intervention programs, family home visiting, and community mental health. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the complex systems that impact children and families, as well as the resilience and strengths they bring to the healing process.

My areas of expertise include early childhood mental health, parenting support, foster care and adoption-related concerns, attachment and relationship challenges, trauma, family transitions, and helping caregivers navigate developmental and behavioral concerns. I am passionate about partnering with families to build on their strengths, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

Clients often appreciate my warm, collaborative, and practical approach. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where individuals and families feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we work toward solutions that fit your unique needs, goals, and circumstances.

I believe that healing and growth happen within the context of safe, supportive relationships, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges and build on their strengths.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe sharing your concerns, experiences, and hopes for therapy.

During our initial session, we will discuss what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, your strengths, and any relevant personal, family, or developmental history. We will also explore what you would like to gain from our work together and identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable for you or your family.

I believe that every client is the expert on their own experience, so our work will be collaborative from the start. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I will take time to understand your unique circumstances and help develop a plan that aligns with your needs and values.

Clients often leave the first session with a clearer understanding of the therapy process, a sense of being heard and understood, and a shared plan for moving forward. My hope is that you leave feeling supported, hopeful, and confident that we can work together toward meaningful growth and positive change.
