Great to meet you!

I became a therapist out of an early desire to help others. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University and a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from Buffalo State University. In my more than 40 years of experience, I have worked with people of all ages from young children to adults and have a special interest in anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief and loss and life changes.

My approach to therapy

I strive to listen with respect, nonjudgement and bear witness as you work through hurts and hurdles, heal from difficult experiences and cope more effectively with life stressors. I look forward to helping you move toward achieving a healthier and more satisfying life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be a time when I ask a lot of questions to get to know you better. I want to understand you and what bring you to therapy. Then we will work together to outline your goals for treatment.
