Great to meet you!

Hi there! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with an Educational Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have extensive experience in managing and de-escalating crisis situations, assisting clients in working through anxiety, depression, grief, anger, substance use issues, relational conflict, and life transitions. As a means for effectively healing from trauma, I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting.

My approach to therapy

I prefer an eclectic approach which utilizes elements of person-centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused therapeutic techniques. I believe that creating a comfortable and accepting environment for people and building relationships with them is the greatest indicator of positive outcomes.

What you can expect from me

To come to therapy requires bravery! I want it to be a safe, inviting, and comfortable space for you. This is my top priority as we are getting to know each other. I like comfortability, so reduction of tension and the easing of your worries or nervousness is most important to me.

I value a strong therapeutic relationship above all else and believe that no matter what challenges you are facing, we can make change for the better if we work together to explore your unique background and current needs.
