Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chelsea! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker supporting adults across Hawaiʻi and Colorado. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship stress, life transitions, and patterns that may be getting in the way of feeling fulfilled or grounded.

My work is especially suited for adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or ready for meaningful change. I aim to create a steady, compassionate space where clients can better understand themselves, build healthier patterns, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who they are.

Being Native Hawaiian has also shaped how I understand care, connection, and community. Becoming a therapist feels like one way I can contribute to our collective well-being while supporting people through difficult and transformative seasons of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends thoughtful reflection with practical tools. Together, we explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs shaping your life while building skills that can help you feel more capable, balanced, and confident moving forward.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. Rather than using one method for everyone, I tailor our work to your goals, needs, personality, and pace.

My communication style is calm, direct, and collaborative. I show up authentically, ask thoughtful questions, and offer reflections when they may help you see something differently. I also welcome feedback throughout therapy so our work can stay meaningful, focused, and relevant to what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to understand what has been weighing on you, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope will feel different. We’ll talk about the areas of your life that feel most important right now and begin identifying goals for our work together.

I’ll also explain how I approach therapy, answer any questions you have, and make space for you to get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of where we can begin.
