Great to meet you!

I’m Chelsea Miller, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate with a Master of Social Work degree. I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient, community, and crisis-care settings.

I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship concerns, family conflict, life transitions, and everyday stress. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe space where you can speak openly, feel understood, recognize your strengths, and develop practical tools for meaningful change. Together, we will identify your goals and create a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs, experiences, and values.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and centered on your individual needs. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide support, insight, and practical tools that help you create meaningful change.

I use a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach and incorporate techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. Together, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, identify your strengths, and develop realistic strategies you can use outside of therapy. I work especially well with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, relationship challenges, family conflict, and major life transitions. You can expect our sessions to be honest, supportive, and focused on the goals that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and share any concerns you may have about the therapy process.

We will begin identifying your strengths, needs, and treatment goals while discussing what progress would look like for you. You do not have to share everything at once—we will move at a pace that feels comfortable and build trust along the way. By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and hopeful about taking the next steps toward meaningful change.
