Great to meet you!

My path to becoming a therapist stems from a deep belief that every person deserves a safe space to be truly seen and heard. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, which grounded my practice in understanding how our environments, relationships, and life histories shape who we are today. Over the course of my career, I have worked across diverse clinical settings, helping adult men and women from all walks of life navigate their darkest moments and reclaim their strength.

My approach to therapy

I practice a holistic, trauma-informed approach to mental health, which means I look at the whole picture of your life—your mind, your body, and your unique history. I believe that your current struggles are often connected to past experiences, and my goal is to help you heal the root cause of your pain rather than just managing your symptoms.

In our sessions, I blend clinical science with authentic human connection, utilizing:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): We will identify and transform the unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs that leave you feeling stuck, anxious, or defeated.
  • Trauma-Informed Care: Your safety is my top priority. We will process your past at a pace that feels secure, ensuring you never feel flooded or overwhelmed.
  • Mindfulness & Somatic Grounding: I incorporate present-moment awareness to help you regulate your nervous system, manage stress, and connect with your body.
  • Holistic Wellness: We will look at how your lifestyle, relationships, and environment impact your mental health to build a sustainable foundation for well-being.

Ultimately, my approach is collaborative and empowering. You are the expert on your life, and I am here to provide the clinical tools, validation, and insight to help you thrive.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect in Your First Session Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal for our intake session is to make you feel completely comfortable, safe, and heard. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. We will simply sit down in a warm, down-to-earth environment and take a collaborative look at where you are right now.

During this first session, we will:

  • Share Your Story: You can share what brings you to therapy at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
  • Map Your Goals: We will discuss what you hope to gain from therapy and where you would like to see yourself in the future.
  • Build a Plan: We will begin creating a holistic, personalized roadmap using CBT and mindfulness tools tailored to your life.

This session is a judgment-free space designed to give you a sense of validation, relief, and a clear direction for the journey ahead.
