Great to meet you!

I strive to be open-minded, nonjudgmental, and responsive to feedback. I value collaboration and believe that therapy works best when clients feel safe to share their experiences and perspectives openly. Like many people, I bring an understanding of life’s challenges, which informs my empathy and presence in the therapy room. My priority is to provide a respectful, ethical, and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process, while always maintaining professionalism and appropriate boundaries.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I view my role as a guide—someone who supports you in navigating life’s challenges while honoring that you are the expert on your own experiences. Together, we identify goals that are meaningful to you and use clinically supported strategies to work toward lasting change. I believe clients already possess insight, strengths, and the capacity for growth, and therapy is a space to access and strengthen these abilities. My focus is on empowering you to better understand patterns that may no longer serve you, rewrite unhelpful narratives, and take an active role in creating a life that feels more aligned, balanced, and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, collaborative space where we focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, concerns, and what you hope to get out of our work together. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background and current challenges, and you’ll also have time to ask questions about therapy, my approach, and what working together might look like. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—our first session is about building rapport, establishing safety, and setting a foundation for meaningful progress.
