Great to meet you!

Words can be difficult some days, especially when they are locked in our minds. It can be challenging to express oneself effectively. Thoughts may be unclear, feelings may be hard to identify, or specific needs may be tough to articulate. I believe people possess inner wisdom and the ability to navigate these situations with greater clarity. My role is to guide people through this journey with a strengths-based approach, helping them make sense of their experiences. Together, we can explore the person's inner world, develop practical coping strategies, and build their ability to manage psychological entropy. People can expect to feel empowered and heard, gain insights into their emotional patterns, and learn new skills to create a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

Are you looking for a compassionate therapist who can help you build on your strengths and achieve your goals in a warm, safe environment where you feel comfortable being vulnerable? It's a space where your sense of self-worth and self-value—perhaps diminished by challenging relationships—can be renewed through empowering internal validation and developing your inner resilience. Here, you can expect to feel heard, validated, and respected as the unique, authentic person you are. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I use strengths-based therapy to empower and bolster self-worth. My experience working with diverse populations, including those experiencing homelessness, people involved in sex work, incarcerated individuals, and children with trauma, has given me a deep understanding of various struggles, complex trauma, and mood disorders. This background enables me to work with you to identify strengths, guide you, and teach practical strategies to navigate challenges and foster lasting, positive change.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, during which you share what has brought you to therapy and the goals you hope to achieve. You can anticipate a collaborative and nonjudgmental environment to explore your inner world, learn coping mechanisms, and progress toward positive transformation at your own pace.
