Great to meet you!

Seeking therapy is one of the strongest investments you can make in yourself, and I’m honored to walk alongside you in that journey. I believe healing happens in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving clients in North Carolina and a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) serving clients in South Carolina. With more than 15 years of experience in behavioral health, I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, substance use, stress, and severe mental health conditions across hospital, emergency, outpatient, and community settings.

My diverse clinical background has given me experience helping people through some of life’s most difficult moments—from managing overwhelming emotions and recovering from trauma to navigating crises and rebuilding after significant life changes. While my experience includes working in high-acuity settings, my passion is helping people move beyond surviving and begin thriving.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, burned out, or simply looking for personal growth, I strive to create a space where you can gain insight, develop healthy coping skills, build resilience, and reconnect with the life you want to live. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and solution-focused while also challenging clients to recognize their strengths and create meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy. I tailor these approaches to meet your individual needs and goals.

Together we will:

Identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

  1. Develop healthy coping strategies for managing stress and difficult emotions.
  2. Build confidence and resilience.
  3. Improve communication and relationships.
  4. Process past experiences that continue to impact your present.
  5. Create realistic goals that support long-term emotional wellness.

My goal is for every client to leave sessions feeling supported, empowered, and equipped with practical tools they can use in everyday life. Therapy is not about being perfect—it’s about making progress, embracing growth, and discovering the strengths you already possess.

What you can expect from me

I believe therapy should be collaborative, personalized, and practical. There is no one-size-fits-all approach because every person’s story, experiences, and goals are unique. During our first session we will establish goals and a plan to address and assist with your mental health needs.
