Dr. Aiken's journey in psychology has been notable, having worked in various settings that have honed her expertise. Dr. Aiken graduated from Texas Women's University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in science. She then attended Texas A&M where she earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. After a number of years of practicing in the field, Dr. Aiken attended Capella University to earn her PsyD. in Clinical Psychology. From behavioral medicine to community mental health, an adolescent residential treatment center to methadone treatment, private practice and even serving on a mobile crisis team, her repertoire is as diverse as it is extensive.
