Great to meet you!

Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, but you don't have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I am a dedicated therapist specializing in helping individuals heal from trauma, manage panic disorders, navigate complex relationship dynamics, explore identity, and work through alcohol and substance use challenges. My practice is deeply rooted in supporting people through anxiety, depression, anger management, stress, and family conflicts, with a special focus on maternal mental health, pre-partum, and postpartum care. Whether you are dealing with deep-seated struggles like PTSD or simply feeling overwhelmed by daily life, my goal is to provide a compassionate, inclusive, and deeply human environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is entirely collaborative, warm, and tailored to your unique story. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all solution; instead, I blend evidence-based tools with a gentle, strengths-based perspective to help you discover your own resilience. Together, we might use practical strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to manage difficult thoughts and emotions, or use Narrative and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches to better understand the different parts of who you are. From play therapy and parent-child interaction techniques for families, to solution-focused and mindfulness-based conversations for individuals, I adapt our pacing to ensure you always feel safe, supported, and completely in control of your healing journey.

What you can expect from me

Our very first session together is completely about connection, comfort, and setting a gentle pace that feels right for you. There is no pressure to dive into your deepest vulnerabilities right away, and you don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. We will use this initial time to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and talk about what you hope to gain from our time together. Think of it as a collaborative, judgment-free conversation where we lay the foundation for your growth and ensure you leave feeling a sense of relief, safety, and hope for the path ahead.
