Irreverent, irrepressible, and strong. I am a second careerist! As a former academic (23 years of College English teaching), I am deeply acquainted with stressors of work and school throughout the lifespan. As well, life as a Queer Black American Woman has informed my experience with life, the Universe, and everything. I love working with clients who want to know themselves better, folks who want to be themselves more fully, and people who want to find joy whoever it may be.
I'm looking to hold space with folks who feel marginalized; who feel overwhelmed; who need to be reminded of their strengths, their hopes and their dreams. I am happy to support your process as you work through life in late capitalism, global fascism, and climate change. I am deeply committed to racial, sexual and gender affirmation. I work specifically with clients on: Sexuality: Kink- and Trauma-informed Care. Identity: Racial identity formation and stress. LGBTQIA identity formation and stresses.
In our sessions, we will laugh; we may cry, but we will face truths together to come to a more hopeful and functional life outside of session.
