CPT Chinelo Anadu, PhD, PMHNP-BC, is a Captain in the US Army, serving those who keep us safe. She received her BSN from Washington Adventist University, Maryland; MSN from Virginia Commonwealth University; and PhD in Nursing Education from Liberty University, Virginia. CPT Anadu has over 20 years of progressive Clinical experience, caring for individuals with diverse Psychiatric, Mental, and Behavioral Health needs. She is actively making a tremendous difference in her clients' lives. CPT Anadu understands the impacts of Mental health challenges. Her clients' safety and treatment adherence are her top priorities

My approach to therapy

Caring for Individuals with Mental Health needs has always been her passion. She has helped several individuals across the lifespan with varying psychiatric and behavioral health issues. Her interest is in early detection of Mental Health needs and adequate medication management. She utilizes an evidence-based approach to improve the Health needs of her clients.

With her comprehensive Psychiatric and Mental Health Clinical experiences, she strives to meet the health needs of the community she serves. In that effort, she offers weekday, evening, and weekend telehealth services. Her priority goal is seeing her clients respond to treatment and feel better.
