Great to meet you!

I am a double board-certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience. I started my healthcare career as a critical care nurse. I received my master's degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Cincinnati, a post-master's as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Liberty University in Virginia, and a doctorate in nursing from Frontier Nursing University. With my background in primary care and psychiatric mental health, I provide my clients with individualized holistic care, taking into consideration their physical and emotional health. I aim to deliver comprehensive and compassionate mental health care to each client.

My approach to therapy

My greatest strengths as a provider are informed by my diverse clinical background and years of experience. I love working with those with various mental illnesses, teenagers, adults, LGBTQ, and people from different cultures and religions. I am dedicated and passionate in my quest to offer solutions to clients that enable them to live full lives. I am a great listener, compassionate, and open-minded. I am passionate about empowering my clients to be solution-oriented, see beyond their challenges, and believe in themselves.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be an introductory session aimed at understanding your journey to date. This will include a comprehensive review and evaluation of your medical, psychiatric, and social history, as well as your current symptoms and overall health. I also incorporate a functional medicine approach to help assess and address potential root causes of mental health concerns, including identifying possible nutritional or physiological imbalances. Collaboratively, we will assess your needs and develop a personalized treatment plan.
