Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, coach, and professor of psychology with over a decade of experience helping individuals move from survival mode into a life that feels whole, grounded, and aligned.

I specialize in working with high-achieving individuals, especially those who are used to being “the strong one”, who may appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected internally.

My approach is both clinically grounded and spiritually aware. I integrate evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a deeper understanding of how our thoughts, emotions, and nervous system responses are shaped, not just by life experiences, but also by what we believe about ourselves, our purpose, and God.

I thoughtfully incorporate faith into the healing process, creating space to explore identity, release shame, and reconnect with a sense of peace, purpose, and truth that goes beyond performance or perfection.

Clients often come to me when they’re tired of holding everything together for everyone else and are ready to finally prioritize themselves, without guilt.

My style is direct, compassionate, and results-oriented. I will challenge you, support you, and walk with you as you do the deeper work, not just to function better, but to truly heal.

If you’re ready to stop performing strength and start experiencing wholeness, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, you’re in the right place.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is both practical and transformative. I don’t just help you cope; I help you understand, heal, and move differently.

I integrate evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with deeper work around emotional patterns, identity, and nervous system responses. I help you recognize how stress and past experiences shape your thoughts, behaviors, and relationships, so you can respond differently, not just react.

My style is direct, honest, and compassionate. I will challenge what’s keeping you stuck while creating a space where you can be real without judgment.

I also integrate faith, helping you explore identity, release shame, and reconnect with a sense of peace, purpose, and alignment.

This work is about real change, not just awareness, but becoming more grounded, clear, and whole.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space to slow down, be heard, and begin making sense of what’s been weighing on you.

We’ll start by talking through what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you want to be different. I’ll ask thoughtful, focused questions to understand not just the surface concerns, but the patterns, pressures, and experiences shaping them.

This isn’t just a “tell me everything” session. We’ll begin identifying key themes, and I’ll share initial insights so you can start gaining clarity right away.

You can expect a calm, nonjudgmental environment where you don’t have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or have it all figured out.

You should leave with a better understanding of what’s been going on, what we’ll focus on, and what the process will look like.
