Great to meet you!

Trauma doesn't always stay in the past. Sometimes it shows up as anxiety that never seems to quiet down, relationships that feel difficult to trust, a constant need to stay on guard, or the feeling that you're carrying experiences no one else truly understands. You may have spent years surviving, taking care of everyone else, or wondering why certain patterns keep repeating in your life. Healing is possible, and you don't have to do it alone.

I'm Christina, a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly two decades of experience helping individuals heal from trauma and rediscover safety, connection, and hope. While I welcome all adults, I have a special passion for working with women who are ready to process painful experiences, strengthen their relationships, and move beyond survival mode into a more peaceful, fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

Trauma affects more than our memories—it shapes the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and experience the world.

My work is deeply rooted in attachment theory and trauma-informed care. Throughout my career as both a clinician and therapeutic foster parent, I've supported individuals navigating complex trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and suicidality. These experiences have reinforced my belief that healing happens through safe, trusting relationships where you feel genuinely seen and understood.

I tailor therapy to your unique experiences, drawing from evidence-based approaches to help you understand how your past may be influencing your present while building practical tools to manage overwhelming emotions, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change. My goal isn't simply to reduce symptoms—it's to help you rebuild trust in yourself, in others, and in the life you want to create.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, especially if trust has been broken before.

My priority is creating a space where you don't have to pretend you're okay or carry everything on your own. We'll move at a pace that feels safe while gently exploring the experiences that have shaped you and identifying goals that feel meaningful for your future.

Many of the women I work with come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or unsure if healing is even possible. Together, we'll focus on helping you better understand your story, strengthen your sense of self, and develop healthier ways of coping, connecting, and moving forward.

You are more than what has happened to you. Healing doesn't mean forgetting your story—it means no longer allowing it to define your future. If you're ready to build healthier relationships, find relief from the weight you've been carrying, and reconnect with the person you want to become, I'd be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.
