Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Christina, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma therapist. I specialize in EMDR and trauma-informed therapy for adults healing from PTSD/trauma, sexual abuse, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression.

Many of my clients look “high-functioning” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally reactive, or exhausted on the inside. In therapy, we’ll build practical coping tools while also working through the root experiences that keep showing up in your body, thoughts, and relationships.

My approach is warm, structured, and collaborative. We’ll set clear goals, track progress, and move at a pace that feels safe, so you can feel more grounded, sleep better, and respond to life with more ease and confidence. I provide telehealth services to clients in Nevada, Arizona, Minnesota, and California.

My approach to therapy

I use a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach tailored to your needs. Depending on your goals, I may integrate EMDR, CBT, DBT skills, mindfulness, self-compassion, and solution-focused strategies.

You can expect a balance of support and direction: we’ll identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, and create a clear plan for change. If EMDR is a fit, we’ll prepare carefully and build the resources you need so processing feels steady, contained, and effective.

My style is collaborative and practical, gentle when you need support, and direct when you need clarity, so you leave sessions with insight and tools you can actually use.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on helping you feel comfortable and understood while getting clear on what you want from therapy. I’ll ask about what brings you in, what you’ve already tried, and what’s been hardest lately. We’ll also discuss your strengths, supports, and any history you think is important.

Before we end, we’ll identify initial goals and choose a starting plan, whether that’s stabilizing symptoms (sleep, anxiety, overwhelm), building coping strategies, or preparing for deeper trauma work like EMDR. You’ll leave with a clearer direction and at least one practical takeaway to support you between sessions.
