Great to meet you!

I hold professional counseling licenses in MD and VA. I have been a professor of clinical mental health counseling for 17 years. I have trained hundreds of counselors in VA, TX, NC, and MD. I grew up in CT and I live back in MD now. I enjoy spending time in nature and walking my 2 dogs.

My approach to therapy

I use a person-centered approach and look for ways to help clients feel empowered to make meaningful, sustainable change in their lives. I use CBT and ACT as well.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I will welcome you with warmth and compassion. I will also ask you about what brings you to therapy, and I would like to know more about your story so far.
