My approach to therapy

My ideal client seeks to increase their awareness and insight into their thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behavioral patterns. Understanding how the past relates to the present can be a step gaining new perspectives and assist in making better informed decisions.

My approach is customized to your needs and may include:

-EMDR for trauma, CBT, Interpersonal therapy understanding your behavior within relationships, Mindfulness therapy, Psychodynamic for understanding how the past relates to the present.

What you can expect from me

I've become familiar with the complexity of factors contributing to human motivation and resulting behavior and therefore I try to meet a client where they are in their readiness for therapy never forcing change. Whether it's your 1st therapy session or 100th, my focus is building comfort and validating that I understand your story, intent, and goals. It's also important to me that I provide clients with solid skills and resources to be utilized outside of therapy.
