Christine Cantilena Barnes

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist and a Christian Life Coach since 2015, I believe change is very possible. I have been a part of Atlanta’s professional community for over 28 years. My education from Mercer University (a CACREP approved school) with additional experience in intensive marriage and family mediation. I interned with Kathy Steele, an expert on complex trauma, dissociation, and other related issues. I focus on person centered therapy and solution focused. I offer cerified EMDR. Divorce and rentering the dating world is something I have spend years in assisting women.

My true passion lies in providing therapy for individuals age 17 and up, as well as working with families, pre-marital couples (using the Gottman Method), and divocing couples with children. I have court experience and educated to provide psycheducation to families by using improved communication techniques for adolescents, college student up to rising adults. My experience and passion is assisting college age and adults to heal from issues such as Suicidal Ideation, Self-Harm, Depression, and Anxiety.

I enjoy empowering clients in the six areas of healthy living. They include: Physical Care, Spiritual Growth, Mental Stability, Physiology Understanding, College/Career Stress, and Social Determination.
