Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and families across the lifespan, with a particular focus on adolescents. I have experience supporting clients through anxiety, life transitions, relationship and family concerns, and deeper emotional struggles. My approach is integrative, allowing me to tailor therapy to each client's unique needs, experiences, and goals.

I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel safe being themselves and honest about what they are experiencing. I believe therapy should be both supportive and purposeful, and I am not afraid to gently challenge clients when it can help them grow. I also have experience working with military families and understand some of the unique challenges that come with military life and frequent transitions.

My goal is to build a genuine therapeutic relationship where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and client-centered. I believe there is no single approach that works for everyone, so I meet clients where they are and tailor our work to their individual needs, experiences, and goals. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being honest and authentic.

At the same time, I believe therapy should challenge us to grow. I am compassionate and empathetic, but I am also honest with my clients and willing to gently challenge unhelpful patterns, perspectives, or behaviors when appropriate. With adolescents, I focus on building trust and creating a space where they feel heard and respected while helping them develop greater confidence, self-awareness, and healthy ways of coping.

My goal is for clients to feel understood while also gaining practical tools and insight that they can carry with them beyond the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, experiences, relationships, and goals, while giving you space to share what feels important to you.

I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, so there is no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. Together, we will begin identifying what you would like to work on and what you hope to gain from therapy. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of where we can begin.
