Great to meet you!

It has been my privilege to provide therapy services to veterans and their families for the past 17 years, and I have been honored to gain a variety of evidence-based therapies to address the conditions of the individuals and families I have worked with over the years. I have a wealth of experience treating many conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions.

I believe that healing happens within a safe and collaborative relationship, and I take pride in being of service to others and feel honored to support individuals and their families as they work toward recovery, resilience, and improved well-being.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2012, I have worked with Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Primary Care, and other providers to achieve a holistic approach to providing mental health services to the people I serve. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work, and I utilize evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), among other types of treatments. I serve individuals, couples, and families to address a variety of conditions.

What you can expect from me

During our initial session together, we will complete our intake, and this allows me to get to know clients better and gain a perspective on what brings them into treatment. The intake includes assessment measures pertinent to the problems they are having, and these measures will be used again later in treatment to determine progress. A thorough history helps me to understand clients, and then we create a treatment plan together to guide the rest of our sessions.
