Great to meet you!
Christina Otto, LMSW is a graduate of Michigan State University, where she earned her Master of Social Work and an Addiction Studies Certificate. She primarily works in a residential treatment setting, providing care for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (dual diagnosis).
Christina's clinical approach emphasizes understanding and addressing the underlying causes of substance use rather than focusing solely on symptom management. She has a particular interest in working with individuals experiencing complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) and recognizes the significant role trauma can play in addiction and recovery.
Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Christina integrates trauma-informed, evidence-based practices to help clients process difficult experiences, build resilience, and support lasting recovery. Her work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to helping individuals heal at the root of their struggles.
