Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Kansas and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri with 24 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, & depression. I have worked with college-age students, kids from the ages of 5-18, and adults with day-to-day stressors, as well as adults with severe mental illness.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. It is important to me that you have a voice in your therapy, and I will strive to help you find your strengths in order for you to succeed. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

What you can expect from our first session

During our first session, I really like to get to know you on a personal level. I will ask questions about growing up and things that may have impacted you, and where you are today. Understanding the past can often lead to a better understanding of the present. We will discuss goals and what you want to get out of therapy moving forward.
