Great to meet you!
A proud retired Marine with 22 years of honorable service, I bring discipline, resilience, and compassion to my second calling as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina. I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and for the past nine years, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges.
Drawing from a diverse therapeutic toolkit—including Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy—I work with clients of all ages, from children to adults. I believe wholeheartedly that every person holds the capacity for change; sometimes, they just need the right tools and support to unlock that potential.
As a father to four adult sons and grandfather to six, including my spirited three-year-old granddaughter currently in my care, I understand the complexities of family life firsthand. This life experience deeply informs my practice and allows me to connect with clients in an authentic and empathetic way.
Passionate about the outdoors and dedicated to personal wellness through weight lifting, I strive to model balance and purpose in my own life. My guiding principle is simple but powerful: treat others as you would want to be treated, and support them in making lasting, meaningful change on their own terms.
