Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples, and LGBTQ+ clients seeking deeper self-understanding, emotional healing, and more connected relationships. My approach is warm, relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through safety, honesty, and meaningful connection.

I specialize in relationship therapy, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, attachment wounds, complex trauma, and psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. I also support clients navigating life transitions, grief, shame, self-worth, communication challenges, and patterns that keep them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves and others.

My work draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems, somatic awareness, humanistic and existential therapy, and trauma-informed care. I help clients slow down, listen inward, understand their patterns, and develop more compassionate and empowered ways of relating.

As a queer-affirming therapist, I am especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ clients and relationships. I strive to create a space where clients can bring their full selves—without judgment—and explore healing in a way that honors their identities, histories, relationships, spirituality, and lived experience.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I see therapy as a space where we can slow things down, notice what is happening beneath the surface, and make room for the parts of you that may feel conflicted, protective, overwhelmed, or unheard.

I work actively and compassionately. This means I may ask thoughtful questions, reflect patterns I notice, invite you into deeper emotional awareness, and help you connect what is happening now with the experiences that shaped you. I also value practical movement, so our work may include communication tools, nervous system regulation, self-reflection practices, and new ways of responding to yourself and others.

Rather than offering one-size-fits-all therapy, I pay attention to your pace, your goals, your relationships, your body, your identities, and your sense of meaning. My intention is to help you feel more present, more empowered, and more connected to the life and relationships you want to create.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to create a space where you can feel comfortable, respected, and not rushed. We will begin by talking about what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to change or understand, and what has felt difficult, stuck, or unresolved.

You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet. I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your concerns, your history, your relationships, your strengths, and what kind of support feels most useful to you. Together, we will begin identifying patterns, clarifying goals, and creating a sense of direction for our work.

My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, grounded, and clearer about what therapy with me may look like. Whether you are coming in with a specific concern or simply know that something needs to shift, we will move at a pace that feels respectful, collaborative, and supportive.
