Great to meet you!

It's a Please Meeting You!

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, I think that making our mental health a priority is very important for happiness and stability in life. It can be hard to ask for help. I think it's brave of you to take this step toward the resolution you want. I've been doing this for 25 years and have worked with people of various ages on issues like depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and conflicts over identity development. In the last ten years, I've mostly worked on problems that men face and conflicts between religions and spiritual beliefs.

My approach to therapy

Our work together will be based on your story and the things that have happened in your life. I'd like to know what happened and how you plan to respond. I see the counseling process as asacred and created space to be honored. I work with my clients to help them discover and heal. I encourage them to be equal partners in their path. I consider cultural factors, including spirituality, as context to respond with respect and creativity towards co-created outcomes.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introduction session, in which you can talk about your story and what you want to get out of therapy. We'll work together to find a solution! I try to make the space warm and welcoming so that you may feel safe and comfortable sharing and being open. After that, we'll work together in the next sessions to help you reach your goals in a solution-focused environment where you feel heard.
