My approach to therapy

I like to get to know about you and your situation. I want to learn how I can best help and support you to become less stressed, healthier and able to get back to doing life. During our first session I will ask questions about what issues are currently bringing you into for therapy. I will also ask about your history that might be affecting your present issues. I will ask you what your goals are for therapy and we will discuss a plan to help you meet your goals. We are team and we will work together to get there! I want you to leave feeling encouraged and hopeful.

What you can expect from me

I want my office to be a safe and comfortable place for you to be able to share things you may not feel comfortable sharing with others in your life. Goals are very specific and personal to you and I want you to participate in setting them.
