Great to meet you!

A very warm hello! I’m so glad to meet you, and I look forward to teaching you fascinating techniques to help you accomplish your counseling goals. Psychology is my passion, and for 25 years, I’ve worked to learn the most effective therapies. I use the latest in Neuro Psycho therapy along with Cognitive Behavioral therapy, EMDR, and other therapies to help my Clients. As a ‘mature’ woman, I have plenty of real life experience to back up professional training, as such, I specialize in all areas of Women’s issues.

My approach to therapy

It’s an incredible honor to work with people in the most vulnerable areas of their lives! My role in that partnership is to listen, teach, support, accept, be an accountability partner, brainstorm solutions, and give objective feedback. I’m always ready to teach new techniques, but I like to follow my clients lead in order to make sure that we address the most important issues. Your role is to be honest with feedback and communications and to have the courage to try new behaviors.

What you can expect from me

The first session revolves around getting to know one another, identifying issues to be worked on, gathering information, and generally setting the stage for a good working relationship. In subsequent sessions, I enjoy sharing practical tools that clients can use to help them move forward. At the end of every session we summarize the most important ’takeaways’ to clarify areas for follow-through. Reaching out for help is a big step and I congratulate you for taking the first step towards change!
