Great to meet you!

I’m Cindy Herzog, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. I hold a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Texas and bring a background in counseling, disability adjustment, and helping individuals navigate significant life transitions.

I work with preteens, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, and life transitions. I also enjoy helping individuals navigate school-related challenges, work-life balance, and adjustment to disability or unexpected changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered and collaborative, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

What you can expect from me

When we begin working together, you can expect a friendly, supportive, and collaborative approach. I strive to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and respected. We’ll work together to explore your concerns, identify your goals, and build on your existing strengths. I believe therapy is a partnership, and our sessions will be tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and pace. My goal is to help you feel supported while developing practical tools and greater confidence to navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.
