Great to meet you!

I am passionate about helping adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, overwhelming emotions, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Whether you're feeling stuck, weighed down by the past, or struggling to cope with life's demands, therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

I believe healing happens through a collaborative relationship where you feel supported, understood, and empowered. My goal is to help you identify your strengths, develop practical tools for navigating life's challenges, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy and tailor treatment to each person's unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based therapies, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients build practical coping skills while addressing the underlying experiences that may be contributing to their current struggles.

For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling and can thoughtfully integrate faith into the therapeutic process alongside evidence-based treatment in a way that aligns with their values and goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and better understand what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for successful therapy, so I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace.

Together, we will begin identifying your goals for therapy and develop a plan that is tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach is collaborative, meaning that you are an active participant in the process, and we will work together to determine the strategies and interventions that best support your growth and healing. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, or faith-related issues, you can expect to be met with compassion, respect, and a genuine desire to help you move toward meaningful change.
