Great to meet you!

I'm a southern tumbleweed at heart. Over fifteen years ago, I traded the hustle and bustle of Charleston, South Carolina, for the rural countryside of Oklahoma. I enjoy the outdoors and in my free time I'm taking in the quiet peace that comes with the Sooner State.

I'm a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with the goal of serving rural Oklahomans that otherwise would not have access to mental health resources.

I've had the opportunity to work with diverse populations ranging from early childhood to late adulthood. Throughout my years it has become apparent to me that my calling is to help those who feel alone in their environment and to establish a connection with others in a way that is empowering, creates autonomy, and establishes a better sense of self and relationships with others.

My approach to therapy

I work with my clients using a variety of cognitive behavioral methods, but I also pull from a person centered approach. I see any person as doing their best with what they have in their tool belt at any given time.

What you can expect from me

They can expect to a warm and welcoming presence. My hope is that all clients feel seen and heard in their first session.
