Dr. Clementina Nwandu

Hi, nice to meet you! My name is Clementina Nwandu and I have over 28 years of experience in the healthcare industry as a nurse, and 24 of those in the mental health field. I am versed in providing services in a wide range of mental health conditions including Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorder, Bipolar disorder, etc.

I have experience working with those coming from various backgrounds, such as correctional facilities, military, in-patient, out-patient, and partial hospitalization programs. If you resonate with any of these backgrounds, I'd love to meet you. I've seen an increased demand for psychiatric and mental health nursing in the State of Maryland and in general, and I am committed to being more accessible and providing the best evidence based care to all of my clients.

My approach to providing care is comprehensive, holistic and evidence based. As each individual is unique, I tend to tailor my services to meet the specific needs and goals of each client. We will work to find the best medication to correct your symptoms and get you feeling whole again.

I believe in being honest with myself and with my patients, and I hold true to the ideology of "treat others how you'd want to be treated", and that feeling is what my clients will take away from sessions with me. I will treat you with the dignity and compassion that I would any close friend or family member so I can help you on the road to recovery/wellness.
