Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Colleen and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the states of Maryland and Colorado. I have my MSW from the University of Maryland- Baltimore and have been practicing social work since 2015. I assist people with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other serious mental illnesses with acceptance, treatment, and pursuing their goals. I can also assist you if are feeling overwhelmed by worries about the past or future.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a mixture of evidence based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy skills, and motivational interviewing. I have experience working with adults with substance use disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and others.

What you can expect from me

In our first session I will provide information on the basics of therapy and my practice. Please feel free to ask me any questions that may come up. We will discuss why you are seeking therapy at this time and your personal history. I want to know what you would like to get out of therapy.
