Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S) with a passion for supporting children and adults on their journey toward healing and growth. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) and Master of Science (MS) degrees from John Brown University.

I specialize in working with children ages 5 and up, as well as women navigating life’s challenges. I have been in the education field for over 37 years as a teacher and school counselor and over a decade as a licensed professional counselor.

If you or your child are struggling, you don’t have to walk through it alone—I am here to support you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in connection, understanding, and nurturing each client’s unique strengths. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), strengths-based approaches, and play therapy to support emotional growth, build coping skills, and strengthen relationships. I am also trained in EMDR.

Whether you are navigating major life transitions, managing chronic stress, or working through long-standing patterns, therapy can be a space to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward greater stability and self-understanding.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment where we begin getting to know one another. We will talk about your concerns, your goals, and what brings you or your child to counseling. For children, this will include play-based activities to help them feel comfortable and safe. Together, we will begin to create a plan that supports your needs and helps you feel confident moving forward.
