Great to meet you!

Hello, I am so glad you're taking this step towards well-being. I offer a warm, supportive and affirming space to explore challenges and build a more fulfilling life.

If you're navigating anxiety, depression, or the lingering effects of past hurt and trauma, I'm here to help you understand yourself on a deeper level. Together, we'll explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and develop meaningful goals that foster growth and cultivate a stronger sense of self-esteem, empowering you to move forward with greater resilience and well-being.

My professional years of experience in the field of child welfare, supporting individuals with disabilities, and witnessing the impact of mental health within my own community have solidified my passion for empowering people. I believe everyone deserves to feel understood and accepted, knowing that their background, identity, or challenges do not define their worth.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and hold a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and a certificate in Advanced Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis From New York University.

My approach to therapy

My approach often incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), weaving in mindfulness and coping skills to help you understand and navigate your emotions and behaviors with greater ease. I also believe exploring our early experiences can offer valuable insights into our present selves, and together we'll identify your strengths and goals to create lasting positive change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a gentle introduction where we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, understanding that this first step can feel scary and vulnerable. We’ll take things at your pace, focusing on building a comfortable connection and beginning the first step together toward understanding your goals for treatment.
