Great to meet you!

I am licensed in North Carolina with over 5 years of professional work experience in individual and couple's counseling; and 20+ years in the profession of social work and mental health services. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support and empower you in that process.

My approach to therapy

I have experience treating individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger management. Trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and EMDR, and has over 20 years of experience working in both the mental health and social work fields, with many years of training related to trauma and crisis experiences.

My primary therapeutic method is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which looks at how your beliefs, feelings, and self-talk influences your behaviors. In addition, I use Solution-Focused Therapy, empowering individuals to focus on current and future solutions while identifying goals and resources for a strengths-based approach to enhancing their quality of life.

What you can expect from me

I expect clients to take away a "peace of mind" "hope" "empowerment vs enablement" "self-confidence" "fact vs feeling" and the ability to Relax, Readjust, and Resume... Life!

My mission is dedicated to empowering men, women, and adolescents through individualized and couples counseling. With a focus on faith-based, therapeutic, and solution-focused interventions, we aim to provide strategic support that fosters mental and emotional well-being, guiding individuals toward healthier and more fulfilling lives."
