Great to meet you!

I am Constance Averill and hold a Masters in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University and a Doctorate in Social Work from Loyola University. I have been helping individuals; couples and professionals reclaim a sense of peace and clarity for over thirty (30) years.

Someone once asked me how I could work so long with clients who are in such pain. I responded by saying “No it’s not like that! When I meet clients, they are wanting to make a change and I have felt honored to assist them with their goals”.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions you can expect an environment that is warm, honest and supportive. Rather than using one therapy that fits all, I integrate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment and Dialectical Behavior along with others to create a personalized roadmap tailored to your specific goals. Together, we will uncover patterns that are keeping you stuck and build action tools for long term healing.

What you can expect from me

Assistance with setting goals for therapy. Honesty, humor and warmth.
